 "Den frie forklaringen av politiavhør av fornærmede"Marit Olave
I prosjektet analyserer Riis-Johansen kommunikasjonen mellom politietterforsker og fornærmede i avhør. I rammeverket for norske avhør finnes det et ideal om at den som avhøres selv skal styre sin forklaring, og forklare seg sammenhengende og med sine egne ord. Samtidig finner en et institusjonelt press for at forklaringen skal være relevant for videre etterforskning og saksgang, og for en viss effektivitet i avhørssituasjonen. I prosjektet sees det på  hvordan en løser den kommunikative utfordringen som møtet mellom disse målsetningene kan gi. Et viktig grunnlag for å få til en god forklaring, er at den avhørte føler seg trygg og motivert til å forklare seg. Hvordan en bygger et slikt støttende samtaleklima er dermed et annet viktig element i undersøkelsen.

Kristin The contemporary workplace has undergone great changes the last decades, both in public and private sector, nationally and transnationally. Workers no longer function simply as individuals performing designated tasks in a defined hierarchical structure, but rather take part in participatory practices and teamwork in a flexible relation to the ever changing organization. The professional communities are seen as changing from traditional craft guild forms towards more collaborative forms (Adler, Kwon, & Heckscher, 2008), and these changes in organization have been referred to as post-fordist organization (Harvey, 1989), the 'new work order' (Gee, Hull, & Lankshear, 1996), 'post-bureaucratic organization' (Heckscher & Donnellon, 1994). The changes in organization, culture and values are to a large extent changes in discourse practices. Workers are faced with the expectation of not only performing their work tasks but also being able to talk about their work practices as they relate to those of others, both within the organization and without. Professionals are faced with new modes of collaboration requiring communicative skills as well as multiprofessional competencies. This PhD project will analyze interaction in multiprofessional teams as it is manifested in actual work processes, and explore what communicative strategies are employed in organizational decision-making within this setting. Detailed discourse analysis, studying communicative strategies embedded in thorough ethnographic descriptions, will provide insights into the characteristics of decision making in multiprofessional teams. Systematic studies of new and emerging interaction processes are needed in order to understand the implications of ongoing workplace reforms.
