Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management (IØT)
IØT has challenging and inspiring educational programmes and research projects in the cross-disciplinary field of technology management. Through it’s programmes of study, IØT educates candidates with a solid technological basis in methodology and theory on how to develop and manage technologically based organisations. Through participation in, and development of, research projects in close co-operation with Norwegian industry, the department is also developing models, tools and methods for how to manage Norwegian industry.
Central areas of research are: Corporate Finance Corporate Social Responsibility Energy Economics Entrepreneurship and Innovation Health, Environment and Safety Industrial Economics International marketing and internationalisation Logistics and Purchasing Management Operation Analysis Organisational Development Project Management

Educational programs also contain a solid basis in economics and organisational theory, and higher level courses utilise the research specialisations of the staff.
