About IndEcol

Welcome to IndEcol, the Industrial Ecology Programme at NTNU, Trondheim.

IndEcol is a university programme in the area of Industrial Ecology. The programme was initiated in 1994 and includes a comprehensive educational curriculum launched in 1999 and a significant number of doctoral students as well as research projects towards Norwegian manufacturing, energy and building industries.

The activities at IndEcol has a strong attention to interdisciplinary research and teaching, bridging technology and social sciences.

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, is the second largest university in Norway, located in the city Trondheim and with a national responsibility in the field of technology.

NTNU has 7 faculties and 53 departments, about 20.000 students, 3500 employees and annual budgets of about NOK 2,8 billion.
