Versatile raw material

Kelp is one of the most vital raw materials in the production of alginate capsules. An alginate is a long molecular chain that constitutes the skeleton of kelp, bladder wrack and other typical algae.

There are a myriad of applications. Among other things, alginates can be used:

in dog and cat food

as a thickening agent in fabric coloring

as a stabilizer in ice cream, frozen yogurt and cakes.
