The Dean has passed the following resolution, No. 12-2011:It is with great pleasure the Dean awards Abigail Emily Swillens, born March 18,  1983, the degree Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) in Medical Technology. The degree is a cotutelle (joint) degree given in co-operation with Ghent University, Belgium.
The Dean has approved of the evaluation committee's acceptance of the thesis "A multiphysics model for improving the ultrasonic assessment of large arteries" and also approved of the evaluation committee's acceptance of the defence of the thesis on May 7, 2010.
