Ada Repetto, Arne Gürtner, Ove Tobias Gudmestad and Knut Høyland were awarded best session paper at the 28th International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering 2009 in Honololu, USA for the paper: "Shoulder Ice Barrier Ice Tank Testing: Part I — Qualitative Description of a Shoulder Ice Barrier-Ice Interaction During Model Tests".
