Teaching The department engages in teaching and research primarily with regard to the 5 year Master's degree programme Civil and Transport Engineering, while we also offer about 25 PhD level courses.
Research While we primarily conduct basic research, we also engage in commissioned research initiatives in cooperation with well known partners in industry and the public sector. The department has six research groups:
Research is often cross-disciplinary, involving two or more of our research groups as well as other research environments both here in Norway and abroad. This makes it possible for our students to work on real-life issues and actual problems as they specialize.
