Excursion 1: Medieval Trondheim
Departure: Stiklestad Cultural Centre 8am
This excursion is focused on the cathedral at Nidaros and the Archbishops Palace in Trondheim. The excursion will also include a guided tour of parts of the medieval city. This excursion includes time for lunch in Trondheim.
Arrival: Værnes 3pm.


Excursion 2: Technology and Power
Departure: Stiklestad Cultural Centre 9am
This excursion includes among other sites the Iron Smelting Site from the Roman Iron Age at Heglesvollen and The Rock Art Site at Holtaas.
The trip will include a stop for lunch.
Arrival: Værnes Airport 4pm

Guiding during the excursions is in English
Registration for the excursions will take place at a separate stand at the conference centre at Stiklestad.
Participation costs NOK 100.
Lunch and refreshments are not included in this price.

There are a limited number of seats on each excursion, so it may be wise to decide and book early.
For those not travelling further by plane, Værnes is a good traffic hub with good bus and rail connections for the journey onwards.
