Mitt arbeid ved NTNU
Jeg er instituttleder ved Institutt for Kjemisk Prosessteknologi. I tillegg er jeg (fremdeles) professor innen papirteknologi og papirfysikk. Jeg jobber med forskning innen papirfysikk, mekanisk masse produksjon og produksjon og modifikasjon av mikrofibrillær cellulose. Det meste av forskningen skjer i nært samarbeid med Papir og fiberinstituttet (PFI). I samarbeid med en forskningsgruppe ved Midtuniversitetet har jeg startet spin off selskapet Collimated Chipping Technology, CCT som jobber med forbedret flishugging.
For tiden underviser jeg i fagene TKP4120 Prosessteknikk, TKP4180 Bioenergi og fiberteknologi, TKP4560 Papir og fiberteknologi fordypningsemne og KP8117 Papirfysikk og papirkjemi.
