PhD topic: Non-linear Observers for GNSS- and Camera-Aided Inertial Navigation of a Fixed-Wing UAV. Main supervisor: prof. Thor I. Fossen.

I attained a MsC in Automation Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in May 2012 after having worked on the EU-funded project UAN (Underwater Acoustic Network) with SINTEF in Trondheim. I started my PhD at NTNU shortly afterwards, in October. My topic is Non-linear Observers for GNSS- and Camera-Aided Inertial Navigation of a Fixed-Wing UAV and it is part of a project being developed at the newly established Norwegian Centre of Excellence NTNU AMOS (Autonomous Marine Operations and Systems). I am being supervised by professor Thor I. Fossen.
