PhD working title - Coalescence and breakup of surfactant-covered drops in the prescence of electric fields
The work is a part of this SINTEF project, which aims to make the process of separating water from crude oils more efficient by applying electric fields.
My work is focused on mathematical modelling and numerical investigations. We are currently using level-set methods and phase-field methods to accurately describe two-phase flows with complex morphologies and surface chemistry.
Currently, I am at UC Irvine, studying with Prof. John Lowengrub.
