Professor i hydrologi ved institutt for vann- og miljøteknikk. Foreleser grunnkurset i hydrologi og koordinerer/foreleser kurset i sosial- og miljøverknader ved vasskraftutbygging. Tek og del i forelesingar i andre fag. Forskningsinteressene dreiar seg hovudsakleg om miljøverknader av vassdragsutbyggingar og kaldklimahydrologi knytt til is i vassdrag.
