Jeg har hatt stillingen som førsteamanuensis i geografisk informasjonsbehandling ved Geografisk institutt siden 2004. Jeg underviser særlig i bruken av Geografiske Informasjonssystemer (GIS) og geografisk informasjonsvitenskap, men underviser også i kvantitativ metode for geografer og et emne om effekter av klimaendringer. Mine forskningsinteresser er særlig knyttet til bruken av GIS generellt, men særlig innen studier om effekter av klimaendringer, sårbarhet ovenfor klimainduserte naturkatastrofer, disaggregerte studier av borgerkriger, byplanlegging og GIS brukt innen geografiutdanning.
