Curriculum Vitae

 

David Blum obtained his medical degree from the University of Zürich (2002) and received the Swiss Confederation Diploma of Internal Medicine (2009) and Medical Oncology (2011). He is currently working as a PhD candidate in Palliative Care at NTNU Trondheim. He is a Marie Curie scholar in EURO IMPACT (European Intersectorial and Multidisciplinary PalliativeCare Research Training) and a researcher of theEPCRC (European Palliative Care Research Collaborative).He is a member of the Swiss Society of Palliative Care and the European Society of Medical Oncology.

His main research interests include symptom assessment, cancer cachexia, physical activity, end of life care and integration of oncology and palliative care.
