Previous academic work:

PhD project (defended July 2016): Modeling low emission scenarios for the European power sector

Research objective: Study optimal development of the European power sector for different low carbon emission policy scenarios. This work resulted in the implementation of EMPIRE, The European Model for Power system Investment with (high shares of) Renewable Energy, which is a multi-horizon stochastic programming model for investments under operational uncertainty.
